Founded in 1963 by Inge and George Fonagy, Simona is one of Australia's most established fashion houses. During 1970's, Inge's children John and Deanne Recek joined Simona shortly thereafter by John's wife Geraldine. John currently operates as the Managing Director and Gerry is the Sales Manager for Simona. During 2004 and 2008, daughters Jackie and Kelly Recek began at Simona in the design and retail departments. Now spanning over three generations Simona is continuing the tradition of creating beautiful, classic garments for women of all ages.

This season Simona has turned up the heat. Ignite is the bold and brave Autumn/Winter collection from the iconic Australian brand, a celebration of glamour and the silhouette where contemporary ideas meet classic design.

From statuesque old Hollywood gowns to faux fur coats, to the classic suiting Simona is celebrated for, there is a statement of sophistication to be made this season. Ignite touches on the glamour of the 50s with a modern twist, creating figure-hugging pieces that seamlessly drape the female body. Ignite fuses a palette of cherry red, soft gold and milky cream with a contemporary urban tones of olive, caramel and chestnut brown, with an eclectic mix of checks, animal prints, sequins and brushstrokes completing the range.
