Founded in 1998 by artist Lexy Funk and her partner, Brooklyn Industries is an apparel and accessories retailer with an emphasis on innovative design. The credo of LIVE, WORK, CREATE was born out of the need to find a sustainable way to live without sacrificing an individual's creative drive.

Brooklyn Industries currently has 14 stores in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Portland; plus an ecommerce website.
