Willow debuted in 2003 at Mercedes-Benz Australian Fashion Week and premiered at London Fashion Week in 2004 with British Vogue declaring: "The collection was both beautiful and varied enough to convince her fans that she is a talent set to last." The following year, Willow was selected as one of ten brands to have a fully sponsored Runway show during New York Fashion Week. In 2007, to further enhance her skill of draping, designer Kit Willow worked with a Master of draping in Paris.

As a girl she was always involved with her clothes and how she and others expressed themselves - this passion was a constant companion and even while at University she worked in fashion stores to supplement her creative soul. Putting her designs on paper and fabric on stand, set in motion a brand that has become known for its consistent inspiration, quality and longevity.

Now, from London to the Middle East, Asia to New York and back home to Sydney, today Willow is a global business with the collection sold in every corner of the world including Harvey Nichols worldwide. The brand is also well represented online globally through net-a-porter.com, matchesfashion.com and shopbop.com.

In 2008, the first Willow flagship store opened in Sydney, in what was an art gallery in the fashion hub, followed by the opening of a second and third boutique, in Melbourne in 2009.

Willow continues to show expressive runway collections season after season at New York Fashion Week.
