The Ark

Based in Melbourne, The Ark is a boutique sized company that packs powerful punch in women's fashion. Jenny Layton and Christine Metcalfe are the brains behind the label, who initially started out in 1990 designing and manufacturing the creative children's label Oz Ark. It wasn't long before a reputation for quality designed, children's clothing had earned them a position in the fashion stakes.

Fast-forward to 2011 and this company is known for being a breath of fresh air for women. At The Ark you will find a range of contemporary Australian designer clothing, with a bit of attitude, great fit and fabrics, warm colours and fantastic Ark Basic trans seasonal items, which are always in production.

The Ark is a buzzing business with a great attitude. Designed and made in Australia using fabrics sourced from around the world, The Ark exists to provide a much pined for product to an appreciative female audience.
