Excelling in arts from an early age, Valerie's love of vintage fashion stems from her grandmother, a tailor, who taught Valerie to sew and pattern make.

Her vintage inspired Summer 2004 collection, 'An Affair to Remember', featuring feminine chiffon dresses captured the essence of 1950's glamour. It is this old world elegance, mixed into Valerie's own modern style that encapsulates her new edge and individuality.

This collection was picked up in full by Valerie's first international Boutique, Singapore's 'Trixillini' and then by 'Behave' in London.

With her national sales agents, Showpony Fashion Management recently taking on a publicity role for the label, Valerie Tolosa has grown immensely since its debut in 2002. Her 2006 Summer Range entitled 'Young Hollywood' stocked to over 25 boutiques nationally.

Growing media interest coupled with the label's popularity as race wear, has meant long waiting lists for Valerie Tolosa's glamorous frocks before they have even hit the stores!

In Summer 2006, Valerie Tolosa's celebrated Ashley Frill Dress received a full page editorial, resulting in hundreds of calls nationally.

Her Winter Wonderland 2007 range, received an overwhelming response having tapped into a whole new market of dresses that are wearable both day and night, for the fashion forward girl.

Girly but grown up, Valerie has diversified her range to include must-have everyday pieces, complimenting her glamorous silk printed dresses.
